Traditional and American Old Time Music Concert/Jam with Janie Rothfield and special guests! WHEN: Friday, April 6 TIME: Doors Open 7pm, Concert starts 7:30pm WHERE: At the home of Sally Robinson in Centretown Ottawa COST: Suggested donation of $20 with all proceeds going to the artist. Join internationally-known multi-folk-instrumentalist Janie Rothfield for a concert of old-time music on fiddle and banjo. Jane is a power house American Fiddler and Old-Time clawhammer banjo player who is widely recognized for her traditional and inventive style and her own award-winning original tunes. Originally from New York state, Janie has been performing, recording and teaching music that is rooted in Traditional American and Celtic Music since her teens when she started playing with older generation musicians from New England, North Carolina and Quebec.
